Is the image splitter completely free?

Yes. Every layout and download in this tool is free, without registration or a watermark.

Does my image leave my device?

No. Your image is decoded and processed in your browser. It is not sent to a server. Refreshing the page clears your working image.

How do I split an image into 2, 3, or 4 parts?

Choose Equal parts, select a number, then choose Side by side or Stacked. For four squares, choose a 2 × 2 grid instead.

Will splitting reduce image quality?

PNG export without resizing preserves the decoded image pixels. JPEG re-encodes the image and may change its quality. Browser color handling can differ from professional image editors.

What happens when the size cannot be divided evenly?

The full image is preserved. Some tiles differ by one pixel. Fixed-size mode keeps the smaller edge tiles, or pads them without stretching.

How do I save the images on my phone?

Download a ZIP and open it in your Files app, or prepare an individual tile and use its download link. Saving to Photos depends on your browser and device.
